By making a reservation at 7 Tails Guest Ranch, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions outlined below.
Payments
Accepted Payment Methods
Credit cards (3% fee will be added)
E-transfer
We do not accept debit cards, cheques or cash.
A non-refundable $50 deposit is required at the time of booking.
Full payment is required two weeks prior to your check-in date.
Taxes
The Alberta Government charges a Tourism Levy Fee of 4% of the room rate (pre-tax).
The Canadian Government charges a Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 5% of the room rate.
These taxes will be added to your room rate.
Pets
We are a working horse ranch and need to ensure the safety of our other guests and horses.
For your comfort and safety, pets are not permitted on the premises. Leave your pets at home.
Our Animals
We have three resident cats on site; please do not let them in your room or the cabin. They like to visit and might ask to come in your room - please don't let them.
You are more than welcome to say “Hi” to our horses. We have a couple of strict rules about them, however:
DO NOT FEED THE HORSES ANYTHING. Not even grass, carrots or apples. Some horses are on a strict diet due to health needs.
Do not cross the fence into the horse pasture. This is for your safety.
We'd be more than happy to have you meet our horses up close and personal. Please just ask us and we can set that up for you. Our resident horse trainer may also be able to accommodate a one-on-one session with a horse or even a ride. Just ask!
Cancellations
You may cancel with a full refund up to 3 days (72 hours) before arrival.
Any cancellations within 3 days (72 hours) OR no-shows are not eligible for a refund.
Any transaction fees charged to us (by PayPal or other agencies) will be deducted from any refund issued.
To cancel your reservation:
Cancellations are accepted by email only at leona@amazinghorsecountry.com. Make your subject line: Reservation Cancellation. Quote your reservation/invoice number in the email.
Restrictions
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the property.
Use of the firepit is dependent on weather conditions and any current or known fire restrictions/bans in Clearwater County.
Check In/Out Times
Standard check in times are between 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
Check out time is 11:00 am.
If you require an earlier arrival or later departure, let us know when you book your room and we will do our best to accommodate you.
If your room isn't ready, we will glady store your luggage for you at no charge. Feel free to go for a hike on our trail network or take in one of the many local attractions.
We understand that delays are often experienced when travelling. Please inform us immediately when you become aware that you require an early or late check in time.
When you arrive, please enter through the main gate and drive up to the house. Please text us when you have arrived and we will greet you.
Occupancy
Guest rooms (the Belle Room and the Bailey Room) have a maximum occupancy limit of 2 persons.
Chip's Cabin has a maximum occupancy limit of 4 persons.
No addition cots or beds are permitted.
Privacy Policy
We do not collect any personal information from you on our website.
Our website does use Google Analytics which collects demographic information such as location.
Your contact information (name, phone number and email address) is retained with your reservation and is NEVER shared with any third party organization or entity.
